The Art of Tiramisu made with Cafe Quindio Blend Espresso 🤎

A classic, crafted with love and a coffee that truly makes the difference.

✨ Ingredients (4 servings)

– 475 g mascarpone (Saputo) 
– 3 eggs (yolks and whites separated) 
– 95 g sugar 
– 2 packs Italian ladyfingers (Vicenzo) 
– 1 tsp amaretto (optional)
– Cocoa powder 

☕ Espresso-style coffee (no machine needed)

To achieve a rich, concentrated coffee using a V60:

– 35 g finely ground coffee 
– 140 ml hot water 

1. Bloom: pour 40 ml → wait 30 seconds 
2. Second pour: up to 90 ml total 
3. Final pour: up to 140 ml total 

Total brew time: 1:10 – 1:20 

Brew should be bold, intense, and slightly bitter; this is key for a balanced tiramisu.

🍰 Method

1. Whisk egg yolks with sugar until pale and creamy. 
2. Gently incorporate mascarpone until smooth (do not overmix). 
3. Whip egg whites to stiff peaks. 
4. Fold whites into the mixture in 2–3 parts using soft, enveloping movements. 

5. Quickly dip ladyfingers into the coffee (1 second max — do not soak). 

6. Assemble in layers: 
 – Ladyfingers 
 – Cream 
 – Ladyfingers 
 – Cream 

7. Finish with cocoa powder. 

8. Refrigerate for at least 6–8 hours (ideally overnight).

Because a true tiramisu is not just a dessert… 
It’s balance, texture, and coffee at its finest.
